Resilience and Wellness Coaching
All of routinely face issues at work, in our personal relationships, and with our own health that test us, and more often than not we are more than able to deal with them and move on, indeed in doing so we are usually stronger than we were before. Sometimes, however, whether because we are dealing with multiple issues simultaneously, or because one particular challenge is so great, we find ourselves struggling, and the consequences can be serious and potentially long lasting. What
Resilience and wellness coaching is about developing the capacities and strategies to better manage the stresses and strains we all experience in our busy lives. My approach starts and finishes with the coachee, meaning there is no one size fits all. It is instead about your guide on a personal journey, blending my experience as a coach with my professional understanding of health and wellbeing from over 25 years working in the field of public health and health improvement.

Team Coaching
All organisations are comprised of teams, and organisations are at their most effective when these teams are performing to the best of their ability. When relationships within a team work well, and all members of a team have a clear focus, the team will perform well, and team coaching is a tool that can help with this.
Essentially, Team Coaching works with the Team as a system as opposed to a collection of individuals, and is an ongoing process to sustain change over time as opposed to a one off Team building event. As someone who has been on the receiving end of the “fix it all in one day” approach to team building, I understand that sustaining actions and behaviours agreed by the team at the initial day requires an ongoing level of reflection and time out from the team.
Team coaching helps people understand how to work better with others. It’s an effective method for showing teams how to reduce conflict and improve their working relationships. One area of focus is therefore on interactions and working relationships - the way people act with their teammates and communicate with one another. Equally important, however, is the need to clarify the primary purpose of the team, its goals and objectives, and the roles of the people in the team.
